Questioned Document Division: All types of handwriting/signature forgeries and document manipulations (erased, obliterated) are undertaken for examination. Also covered are forged stamp papers, postal orders, cheques, drafts, marks lists etc., as well as counterfeit currency, share certificates, sale deeds, labels and any other document problems, civil or criminal in nature are undertaken. We also undertake the examination of typewritten, printed and photocopied materials in order to identify the typewriter, printing machine and photocopying machines.

Fingerprint Division: Any document containing fingerprints, palm prints or thumb impressions are examined and reported by accredited experts.

Computer Crime Investigation Division: Any computer based fraud or abuse is examined using the appropriate software and hardware. Facilities are available for data imaging, data recovery, data matching for source code authentication, time line evaluation, mobile phone data recovery, cyber masquerading etc., and other computer related crimes including crime monitoring. Covered by this division, are also cyber forensics, which deal with network connections (Intranet and Internet) to locate the ISP and IP address, hacking, spamming and virus origin tracking.

Psychological Evaluation Division: Psychological screening of suspects for fraud, theft, abuse, harassment, threat or any other white collar crime is undertaken. Pre-employment screening and behavioural profiling are also undertaken by India’s leading polygraphists.

Medico – Legal Division: Consultancy in Medico-legal and other investigative cases. Truth Labs received several cases of Medico-legal importance wherein the nature and cause of death was wrongly reported or concluded by respective investigative, medical and enforcement authorities. Truth Labs reopened the cases with the help of photographs, videographs, post mortem records, doctor’s notes, investigator’s notes, witness reports etc. and found the cause of death/injuries were not as concluded revealing the truth in the actual cases. The cases were reopened at the higher police authority level or at the highest court level.

Accident / Failure / Quality Analysis Division: Scientific investigation of premature failures of buildings, bridges and other structures is covered by this division. This division also analyses accidents caused by inadequacies in design, manufacture and quality control and provides solutions to problems related to material selection and processing. Also covered is the examination of road accidents to determine the probable cause, time and mode of accident by scene reconstruction. Investigation of fire scenes to ascertain the cause of fire including examination of electrical equipments and electrical wiring.

DNA Profiling Division: In cases of disputed paternity, child swapping either accidentally or deliberately, property hereditary cases, immigration disputes, etc. DNA analysis plays a decisive role. Truth Labs offers DNA analysis services in collaboration with India’s leading DNA centre, CCMB, Hyderabad.

Crime Scene Investigation Division: Crime Scene Investigation is conducted in cases of unreported or unsolved crimes.

Audio & Video Authentication Division: Identification of the speaker from the audio devices and authentication of images from the video files are undertaken.
